Tenure-track Faculty Position in Particle Physics

Perimeter Institute invites applications for a tenure track faculty position (equivalent to the level of assistant professor) in theoretical particle physics. Exceptional candidates may also be considered for a tenured senior faculty position. While we welcome applicants from all aspects of particle physics, we are especially interested in individuals who work on novel ideas connecting beyond the standard model theory to experiment and observation. The successful applicant will play a leading role in the growth of Perimeter's particle theory efforts, and in integrating these activities with other related research areas such as strong gravity, cosmology, and astrophysics.

Perimeter Institute is a leading global centre for fundamental research in theoretical physics. It is home to world class research efforts in condensed matter physics, cosmology, mathematical physics, quantum fields and strings, quantum foundations, quantum gravity, quantum information, and particle physics. The Institute offers an exceptional research environment and is currently staffed with 23 faculty and 20 associate faculty members, as well as 69 postdoctoral fellows, 46 Distinguished Visiting Research Chairs, and 51 Visiting Fellows. The Institute’s very active visitor, seminar, conference, and workshop programs attract over 1,000 visitors each year.
