PSI Fellow position: 15 month position

PSI fellows provide outstanding support for all aspects of the programs offered by the Academic Programs departments.

Perimeter Institute is please to seek a contract PSI Fellow position.  Most notably, the fellows provide support to our flagship Perimeter Scholars International program (PSI). As part of this support, fellows will typically give lectures (or attend lectures given by faculty), organize and supervise tutorials, manage homework, and possibly attend the week-long PSI winter school. Fellows are involved in delivering our PhD course offerings, as well as our undergraduate summer school. Fellows are involved in the admissions process for both PSI and our undergraduate summer school. Fellows are also responsible for organizing and scheduling the undergraduate program. Fellows interact on an ongoing basis with students in individual and group study and assist in the evaluations of students. Examining essay defenses is a typical fellow duty. PSI fellows are also encouraged to actively engage in research in their field(s) of interest. For more information about the Perimeters Scholars International program, please visit .

Applicants should hold a PhD in theoretical physics, should have the ability to master the material taught in the courses, have demonstrated aptitude and enthusiasm for teaching physics. In this particular case, we are interested in someone with strength in condensed matter physics and ideally would have some knowledge in the use of machine learning in physics.
